The Firm Welcomes Keith Dunlap as a new Associate


Keith Dunlap joined Perkins Thompson as an associate in the fall of 2007.

He moved to Portland with his wife and daughter following his graduation from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 2007. At law school, he was Vice-President of the Public Interest Law Students Association as well as a staff writer for the Washington and Lee Law Review. In his third year, he worked for the Virginia Capital Case Clearinghouse where he assisted in the representation of individuals charged with capital crimes in Virginia. He also had the opportunity to work with the Office of Military Commissions in the representation of detainees at Guantanamo. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was elected to the Order of the Coif.

In addition to his JD, Mr. Dunlap has an MA in Classics from Columbia University. Prior to attending law school, he taught literature and writing at the University of Montana in Missoula. In Missoula, he met his wife, the novelist Jenny Siler. They have a daughter, Vivica, who is four. Mr. Dunlap and his family reside in Portland.
