- Doug Carr has been re-elected President of the Board of Directors of the Maine Cancer Foundation for the year 2009-2010
- Andy Cadot was recently recognized by the Freeport Conservation Trust for his 32 years of service as its Clerk, and for his leadership in conservation. Andy was also recognized by the Greater Portland Habitat for Humanity, which awarded him its "Golden Hammer" award in honor of his exceptional volunteer efforts in support of Habitat's mission.
- Jim Katsiaficas recently won a land use case on behalf of the Town of Westport before the Maine Supreme Judicial Court, in the case of Nergaard v. Town of Westport Island, 2009 ME 56, regarding a dispute about the Town's boat launch.

- Jennifer Pincus obtained a Maine Supreme Judicial Court decision in her client's favor regarding probate litigation, an interlocutory appeal, and permissible scope of discovery.
- Doug Carr was the recipient of the first issued Maine Cancer Foundation breast cancer license plate, presented to him by Senator Damon, Judiciary Committee Chair, for his dedication to the Maine Cancer Foundation's work.

- The Mergers and Acquisitions practice group assisted a purchaser in acquiring a multi-site petroleum distributor with retail facilities in New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts.
- The Petroleum Marketing practice group assisted a petroleum distributor successfully negotiate petroleum products supply contracts to marine terminals in Portland, Portsmouth, Boston, and East Providence.
